A child-based center, including plenty of culturally relevant activities and welcoming posters. Friendly staff, willing to participate with the children in child-led activities. Staff pay close attention to the safety of the environment or any hazardous spots.

A good early learning environment should have a warm and welcoming feeling to it. It should be organized and clean. It should consist of materials and toys for the children to play, learn, and express themselves with.

A good early learning environment consists of staff working closely with children, observing them carefully, and following their lead when possible.
Stimulating, challenging activities available throughout the day. Program scheduling, physical layout, and procedures that are best for the children in that space and children choosing activities.

A good early learning is safe, adaptive for different developmental levels, and appropriate for many developmental outcomes. Staff needs to take care to remove hazards and keep areas clean. The need to have equipment and toys that kids can use creatively, and appropriate for their ages (for example toy blocks are great for toddlers and can be used for a variety of games.

A good early learning environment is a space filled with a variety of activities that a child can safely explore. It should have a mix of open spaces and more private areas, but with easy access for the childcare professional as well.
