3.1. What type of records will you be responsible for keeping as a child care provider?
You are expected to keep a log of incidents where medical attention was necessary, you are expected to keep a log of injury or illness incidents that occur at school while the child is in your care, you have to keep a clear attendance record, medical records for the kids including immunizations and allergies but not limited to, and safety procedure records.

3.2. Where are the records kept?
T
he records are usually kept both online in a secure private place and also somewhere that is accessible to the adults that work in the room with those kids such as in a folder or binder on the wall or in a designated drawer or shelf.

3.3. What do we do with confidential records?
We keep them private and make sure they are saved in a secure spot where they can be accessed only by staff that has permission.

3.4. What types of information can be posted in the center for all to view?
I
t depends on the school for allergy information some schools will allow this to be public for safety reasons some keep it private, the daily schedule is visible, the schools information (contacts, procedures for emergency, mission statement, etc), and often community resources.

3.1 As child care providers we are responsible for keeping record of meals, attendance, injuries (incoming and outgoing), illness, incidents, immunizations, and assessments of a child.

3.2 The records should be kept in a program on a computer, or in a very organized file system.

3.3 Confidential records should be kept organized in a private location.

3.4 Early achievers awards, and licensing compliance. Also, there are certain illnesses that can be posted for parent awareness if there is a case of it in a classroom such as hand foot and mouth.
