Blocks, art station, dramatic play, quiet area, library, small/large/individual activities, and music. An outdoor environment must have at least 75 square feet of space per child, with constant site maintenance for injury protection and prevention.
2.2: What are some of the special requirements for infants and toddlers in an early learning environment?
Rattles with different sounds, cloth or sturdy cardboard pictures books, dolls that accurately reflect different cultural groups, musical instruments, and smelling jars.
2.3: Is it necessary to have a daily schedule and routine for children? If so, why?
Yes, having a daily schedule helps children know what to expect making transitions less jarring and allows them to be more independent and take control of their role in the classroom.
