It is necessary to have a daily schedule and routine as children need some structure in their day to day lives. It allows the children the knowledge that while one activity may be happening now, they know what is next or what is to be expected in their day.

Yes, it is necessary to have a daily schedule and routine for children. This provides the children with a sense of security and allows them to learn the concept of time as they develop.

Daily schedules and routines are of the utmost importance for children to thrive. When kids know what to expect, they feel safe and secure. This is how they best learn. As they get older (5 and up) the exact schedule every day is not as important. However for younger children, it’s fundamental.
