When looking at the list of ages and their developmental stages is sort of surprising. Seeing all that children learn and do in a short few years shows how much their brains are sponges Kids are very eager to learn it all, while using their new learned skills on us adults and in their environment.
I do like seeing ways we can encourage children to develop, such as letting them copy our sounds or movements when they are infants, or help them learn to use their legs when swinging
