Growing up I was always imitating my mother. Especially when play with my cousins I always wanted to play family and be the mommy. Children imitate because they want to be like their parents. Another way I imitated my mother was by playing “teacher”. Whenever my mothers school had celebrations I got to go and see her classroom and her students. Everyone was always hugging and smiling at my mom that I knew her students really cared for her. She was special to them. My mom always taught us the importance of hard work and doing well in school. As I got older this is something that always suck with me.
