To successfully communicate in a professional way about a child's development, it is important to stick to the facts that are important for the child. Opinions are not necessary unless asked for by the family and even then it should be concise and only pertain to the issue at hand. It is also important to keep the information only between family and staff that are involved with the child, it is not processional to "gossip" about a child to others that are not involved.
