Sometimes communicating with families is hard but it doesn't have to be. Take the time to tell them how the day went and listen to what they have to say. In today's life style and sometimes hectic schedules, only texting or phone calls work, but still make the effort because it helps everyone all around.

An open communication with the parents is very important. It can be difficult to approach a touchy subject with a parent. using the proper language is important. I try to always listen to what the parent has to say. Always give a positive example of what their child did for the day. Ask question about how the child is doing at home.Encourage the parents feedback.
