BY GETTING TO KNOW WHERE EACH FAMILY COMES FORM AND THEIR BELIEFS AND CULTURE. BY ALSO PROVIDING THEM WITH THE TOOLS TO BECOME BETTER. UNDERSTANDING WHO THEY ARE. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU KNOW WHERE THEY COME FROM AND THAT DIVERSITY THEY FACE THAT WAY YOU ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE ACCURATE HELP AND KNOW HOW TO BUILD A RELATIONSHIP.

Communication is key when developing a respectful and reciprocal relationship with the families of your students. Understanding diversity definitely plays a hand in this as not everyone has had the same experiences as myself and it is necessary to understand the differences in the circumstances of a families life in order to help determine the best way to include them in the education of their child as well as keep conversation respectful on both ends.
