What are the specific needs of each stage of development-infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and young school-agers?

Infants:
Provide an appropriately challenging environment to learn in
Picture books
Allow mobile infants a safe environment to move around

Toddlers:
Interact with each child individually
Assist children in group and friend interactions
Build confidence

Preschoolers:
Props to support dramatic play themes
Encourage children to draw pictures and tell stories
about themselves and their life
Ask open ended questions

School-agers:
Provide opportunities to support friendships
Provide time to read
Plan trips to learn about new things and experiences
