A partnership is when both parties have equally important and unique roles in children's lives. A true partnership is a supportive collaboration based on mutual interests. Though opinions will differ at times, both the care provider and the family member want the best for the child and this is where they should come together.

Partnership is an open communication between providers and families. This is important because it establishes consistency in the child's learning process.

Partnership is something where both the families and teachers work together for the best interest of the child and understand that it takes both family and caregiver putting effort in and working in the same direction. It takes collaboration, communication and understanding from both sides.
