Discussion 2.1: How do professionals get to know the children and families in their care / program?

I find this to be fairly simple, since you get to know people by talking with them.  Parents will always want to know whether their child ate all of their lunch, or napped, or if they were helpful to other children in their class.  It makes it pretty easy to interact with them!  I find that same relationship with my child's provider when I pick him up and drop him off too.

I find that getting to know the children and their families. Is by talking to them and just simply just getting to know them every day. you are working with the children every day so, you find new things about them every day.
